ZOI '84
As the legal and proud successor of the Organizing Committee of the XIV Winter Olympic Games, KJP ZOI '84 manages the sporting facilities within the Zetra Olympic Complex including „Juan Antonio Samaranch Olympic Hall“ and Bjelašnica and Igman Ski Center.
Through the implementation of cultural and sports activities, we want to preserve the spirit of Olympism in the original venues and contribute to the development of sports and tourism in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We are continuously working on improving the infrastructure and enrichment of the mountain facilities, and we are planning new projects aimed at the additional promotion of our country, its Olympic heritage and tourism.
Olympic Center Bjelašnica and Igman
Back in 1984. most of the competitions of the 14th Winter Olympic Games in alpine and Nordic disciplines and ski-jumps were held in Bjelašnica and Igman. During the Olympics, Sarajevo and its mountainous beauties where the competitions took place were the main news in the world.
Today, they are charismatic tourist destinations attracting a large number of visitors from all over the world who are interested in their rich history and unsurpassed natural beauty.
There is magic to experience in Bjelašnica and Igman both in summer and winter, which is why many people decide to spend their vacation here, enjoying skiing on long, white slopes, and engaging in other winter sports: snowboarding, Nordic skiing, sledding and hiking. A short 40-minute drive separates Sarajevo from the magic of OC Bjelašnica and Igman.
